News and Announcements

September 30, 2022

On September 30th, Canada marks its National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a countrywide day of learning and reflection.

PGNAETA’s office will be closed so that our staff can honour the lives lost, recognizing the impact residential schools has left on our survivors, our families and our communities.  We shall collectively strengthen ourselves.

We encourage you to  participate with us at the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation events hosted by the Lheidli T’enneh nation from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park in Prince George, or if travel permits join the Nadleh Whut’en as they host “Healing our Hearts” event at Tse Yaz Bunk’et (Lejac site) outside of Fraser Lake .
