NICOLE DOUCETTE - BC HPS Program Manager Nicole has worked with the Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment & Training Association (PGNAETA) since it's inception in 1993 serving in multiple roles & capacities. Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her current position as BC HPS Program Manager overseeing the BC Rural & Remote Homelessness Partnering Strategy. Her experience ranges from providing administration, individual client support services, event planning and coordination, working with First Nations communities and organizations, Project Management, as well as working with local, Provincial and Federal government processes. As an individual Nicole is dedicated and brings a lot of compassion and willingness to her role working to help make positive change and impacts to the citizens we serve. DAWN MURPHY – BC HPS Project Officer Dawn is a First Nation/Ukrainian and a daughter, cousin, wife, mother and aunty to many. Dawn's background consists of over 10 years in program management, human resources and administration and over 17 years in the child and family services sector. She had the opportunity to work with both Regional and Provincial representatives as well as both Federal and Provincial Government, and most recently worked with the Ministry of Children and Families, assisting and advocating for many families through mediations. In doing so, Dawn built many great working relations with multiple organizations and family lawyers throughout her tenure. She is passionate in helping others and communities to achieve success. As a previous leader from her own community Dawn has had the opportunity to witness the importance in creating opportunities for individuals to become self-sustainable and to witness the work that can be done to help communities become self-sufficient as they learn to develop and thrive.
