Partnerships
Historically, PGNAETA has developed relationships and partnerships where potential existed. To date PGNAETA has signed a variety of agreements across the sectors which are invaluable, including:
- Memorandum with the Province to transfer authority to PGNAETA to exempt certain individuals;
- Memorandums with Unions have resulted in greater access for Aboriginal citizens;
- Memorandums with Colleges;
- Recruitment and Retention Agreements with industry which have resulted in employment opportunities;
- Memorandum with the City of Prince George which has resulted in employment opportunities and participation on PGNAETA Guiding teams;
- Partnership with Northern Health Authority to develop the curriculum for an Aboriginal Health Access Program;
- Recruitment and Retention agreement with the Royal Bank, TD, ScotiaBank and Integris to increase First Nation participation in the finance industry;
- Partnerships with the Industry Training Authority and the First Nations Technology Council have resulted in resources to support PGNAETA’s departments; and
- Many more!
