The Carrier Sekani Tribal Council (CSTC) serves seven First Nations communities in the Interior and Northern regions of British Columbia. The Council provides technical and political support to Member Nations through a variety of departments and projects.
The library and archives department has a mandate to provide informational support to member nations through outreach, advocacy and collections development. This includes preserving and making accessible evidential, administrative, and archival records central to the mission, activities, and goals of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council.
The Carrier Sekani Tribal Council is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as an Archives Assistant for a 16 week contract from May 6th to August 30th, 2019.
The Archival Assistant will be undertaking processing, arrangement and description, metadata curation, and digitization tasks to facilitate the preservation and visibility of the photographic collection.
