Support Worker Fort St. James/Tache, BC Nezul Be Hunuyeh is an Indigenous Child & Family Service Agency serving the communities of Nak’azdli Whut’en, Binche Whut’en, and Tl’azt’en Nation.
Reporting directly to the Cultural Supervisor, the Support Worker will play a pivotal role in providing support for traditional practices, and language to the children, youth, and families that NBHCFSS serves. The Support Worker will be instrumental in working with youth and families to develop life skills and enhance social-emotional well-being. Your dedication to this role will contribute significantly by providing group programming opportunities to children, youth, and families. A full job description is available upon request. Type: Permanent Full-Time (35hrs/wk.) Wage Grid: $29.22 - $33.54 hourly with Competitive Benefits and Pension
Duties & Responsibilities: Plan and assist with cultural activities, workshops, and community events Work with families, Elders, and community partners to deliver programs Build strong, trusting relationships with the families and communities we serve Help with transportation and day-to-day program coordination Keep accurate records and reports in line with agency standards
