Gitxsan Safety Services (GSS) is currently recruiting for licensed security personnel from Dawson Creek to Kitimat BC.  The work is camp and shift-based and will last through 2024. 

Accommodations are provided in camp-settings or motels based on proximity to towns.

GSS seeks security personnel that are responsive, confident, professional and ready to deploy to a variety of settings.  Patrols may be in vehicles, or on foot, in teams, pairs or alone.  We provide some corporate PPE to our personnel, though workers are expected to provide their own stell toed boots that meet industry and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Security Worker Licence
• Valid Driver's Licence and clean Driver's Abstract
• Physically able to conduct standing / walking or driving patrols for extended periods of time
• Able to pass drug & alcohol testing
• Leadership / Supervisory experience a valuable asset
• Successful completion of online training where required by project
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• OFA 1 is a valuable asset
• Proficient with technology (i.e. smart phone, IPad or Tablet)
• Assertive, strong judgment, calm demeanor
