Current Opportunities:

A few examples of our current vacancies throughout BC include:

  • Student co-op opportunities for January 2021 are now available.  Ranging from Finance to External Relations and GIS to various departments within Engineering, these work integrated learning opportunities provide students valuable hands on learning experiences. 
  • A Planning and Design Technologist plans, estimates and coordinates project requests from premium key accounts (e.g. builders and developers), external agencies, FortisBC departments, as well as end-use customers.  This role works both independently and with guidance to develop designs for distribution projects of the greatest complexity. 
  • Reporting to the Regional Manager and based in Castlegar, the Supervisor - Business Performance and Finance is responsible for collecting and analyzing financial and operational information for the Electric network services teams, in addition to 3rd Party Operations and Power Supply stakeholders. 
  • As the DSM Portfolio Performance Analyst located in Surrey, this role uses sophisticated software and spreadsheet tools to measure and reports on the progress and performance of our Demand Side Management (DSM) programs (which are designed to encourage consumers to modify their level and pattern of energy usage). 
  • The Change Management Lead will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees with the Customer Service and Billing Operations team.
