BC RURAL & REMOTE
REACHING HOME: Canada's Homelessness Strategy

COVID 19 Emergency Funding 2020-2021
ONGOING CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment & Training Association is pleased to announce we are currently accepting applications on behalf of the BC Rural & Remote Regional Advisory Board under the Reaching Home: Canada's Homelessness Strategy Program.

Through the Government of Canada's COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, decisive action is being taken to help communities address the impacts of the COVID-19 among people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, and to provide additional support to the homeless serving sector during this period.

In determining COVID-19 responses, Reaching Home funding recipients are encouraged to engage widely with other partners to support a coordinated response at the community level. These partners should include local public health authorities, municipal emergency management officials. Reaching Home funding recipients are also strongly encouraged to coordinate efforts with shelters and other service providers.

The Reaching Home (RH) program, which your organization is applying, has specific eligibility requirements. The application for funding should clearly demonstrate how the proposed project meets these requirements.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis up to February 19, 2021
